24.02.2025 rc/ct.no.34 Item No.19 CRR No. 157 of 2025 In the matter of : Joydeep Paul Majumder …....Petitioner Mr. Aniruddha Tewari …for the Petitioner Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the naraji application filed by him before the learned trial Court on August 18, 2024 in ACGR Case No. 1404 of 2021, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. This Court is informed that without disposing of the naraji application filed by the petitioner on August 14, 2024 the learned trial Court being the learned judicial Magistrate, 6th Court, Alipore has proceeded with evidence of the case. The learned trial Court is directed to consider and dispose of the naraji application filed by the petitioner on August 14, 2024 on the next date of hearing fixed before him upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the State, in accordance with law. In the event the learned trial Court is unable to dispose of the application on the said date, the same shall be disposed of within two weeks thereafter and in any event, prior to commencement of evidence. With the above observations and directions the instant revisional application being CRR No. 157 of 2025 is disposed of. 2 Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
