Till date, no effective steps have been taken by Respondent Nos. 2 to 4 to investigate the offence or to secure the accused. Such inaction is illegal, arbitrary, violative of their statutory duties, and infringes the Petitioners fundamental rights guaranteed under Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and Consequently, direct Respondent Nos. 2 to 4 to conduct proper and effective investigation in FIR No. 206 of 2025, dated 11.10.2025, on the file of Respondent No. 4, and to take necessary steps including arrest of Respondent Nos. 6 to 18 in accordance with law and to pass IA NO: 1 OF 2025 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct Respondent No. 4 to seize/attach the movable and immovable properties of Respondent Nos. 6 to 16, and pass order or orders in accordance with law pending disposal of the above writ petition and to pass Counsel for the Petitioner: 1. Heard Sri D.Taraka Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the official respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent police are not conducting investigation in FIR.No.206 of 2025 registered on 11.10.2025 registered for the offences 316(2), 318(4), 351(2) r/w 3(5) BNS, 76(2)(a), 4(1) CFA and Section 5 of APPDFE Act. He would further submit that let there be a direction to the respondent police to conclude the investigation and file a report according to law. 5 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the Court may pass appropriate Orders. 5. Considering the submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the concerned police are directed to conclude the investigation and file a report in FIR.No.206 of 2025, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. There shall be no order as to costs.
