GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 34185 of 2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of Respondents 3 to 5, in not taking action on my complaint dated 08-11-2025 and in not giving me police protection from respondents 6 to 9, as illegal and direct Respondents 3 to 5 to immediately take action against Respondents 6 to 9 for criminal trespass, criminal intimidation, death threats, attempt to kidnap, attempt to murder, harassment of my wife, unlawful assembly, and all other applicable offences, and to provide police protection to me and my family. Such other order or orders may also be passed as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the circumstances of the case.Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.” 2. Heard Sri P. Rohith, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V. Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the police are not taking any action on the complaint dated 08.11.2025 made by the petitioner and not providing police protection to the petitioner from respondents 6 to 9. Learned counsel would further submit that a direction may be given to the police. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions would submit the police received the complaint of petitioner through registered post. In pursuance of the same, the police called the petitioner to police station; however, he did not turn up. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that recording the same, the petition may be disposed of with a liberty to approach the police to pursue the complaint. 6. Recording the above said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the police to pursue his remedy. There shall be no order as to costs.
