It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the investigating officer of the case has closed the investigation in the impugned case FIR bearing No. 155/2024 of Police Station, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu as “Not Admitted” which lends support to the case of the petitioners projected through the medium of the instant petition. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners in the aforementioned backdrop seeks withdrawal of the petition with liberty to the respondent-Police Station to proceed further on the closure report. 3. The respondent has already filed its reply in the matter which is enclosed with a copy of the Status report dated 23.05.2025 forwarded by the respondent-police station to the learned Law Officer representing the matter on his behalf. 4. It is borne out from the perusal of the said status report that the respondent Police Station has admittedly closed the investigation in the impugned case FIR as “Not Admitted”. Sr. No.66 CRM(M) No. 875/2024 5. The instant petition in the backdrop of the closure of the case as “Not Admitted” is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty to the respondents/IO to proceed further on the closure report and also with further liberty to petitioners to file afresh petition if needed. 6.
