ORAL ORDER
Petitioner and her counsel present. Respondent and his counsel present. 2. Joint memo is filed and it is signed by petitioner, respondent and their respective counsels. As per the terms of joint memo, the matter is settled for Rs.1,80,000/- including the amount deposited by the petitioner before the trial Court in a sum of Rs.1,10,000/-. Petitioner has agreed to pay balance amount of Rs.70,000/- within two months from this day by way of demand draft. The petitioner has undertaken that if she fails to deposit the balance amount of Rs.70,000/- as agreed, she will pay the entire fine amount. Petitioner has no objection for release of entire amount deposited by her in a sum of Rs.1,10,000/-. 3. Learned counsel for respondent submits that respondent has withdrawn only Rs.1,00,000/- and there is

balance of Rs.10,000/- in deposit before the trial Court. Petitioner has no objection for respondent withdrawing the said amount of Rs.10,000/- which is in deposit before the trial Court. 4. In view of the above submission, the offence under Section 138 of the N.I.Act is compounded. In view of compounding, this criminal revision petition is disposed of as offence compounded. 5.
Respondent/complainant is permitted to withdraw Rs.10,000/- which is in deposit before the trial Court. If the petitioner fails to pay balance amount of Rs.70,000/- within two months from this day, she shall pay the entire fine amount. Sd/- (SHIVASHANKAR AMARANNAVAR) JUDGE
