2. We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the injured implicates the petitioner in the assault. Injury report shows grievous injury around the neck.
3. In view of the nature of injury and prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the crime, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. Application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected.
