The Court made the following: [3311] two thousand and twenty five Petitioner Respondents 2 BSB, J W.P.No.1533 of 2018 O R D E R: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in collecting the entry fee in river Godavari at Papikonda Hills Area in West Godavari District from each tourist as illegal, arbitrary, violation of Articles 14, 19(1)(g) and 21 of the Constitution of India and also violation of G.O.Ms.No. 35 Environment Forest Science and Technology (For-II) Department dated 22.4.2002 and consequently direct the respondents not to collect the entry fee from the members of the petitioner society boat owners in the area of Papikonda Hills in river Godavari in the interest of justice. 2. Inspite of service of notice on the writ petitioner, there has been no representation for the petitioner either on 29.10.2025 or today, though the matter is posted under the caption ‘for dismissal’ today. 3. As such, the writ petition is dismissed for default. There shall be no order as to costs.
