The appellant Tijau Dheevar appeared before the Lok Adalat, who has been identified by his counsel, Itu Rani Mukherjee. 2-. This criminal appeal is directed against the impugned order dated 04.08.2011 passed in Special Electric Criminal Case No. 194/2010 by learned Special Judge, (Electricity Act), Janjgir, District-Janjgir-Champa (C.G.), whereby the appellant has l»l">a been convicted under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003 and sentenced him to undergo R.l. for one year and fine of Rs. 5,000/- and in default of payment of fine to undergo additionat S.l. for 06 months. 3. The Appellant and Respondent have entered into the compromise and according to the terms of compromise the demanded amount with compounding fees of the State Government has been paid and the demand has already been fulfilled. 4. Mr. A.K. Ambasthe, E.D..CSPDCL, Bilaspur, who is present before this Court submits that he is authorized to compromise and compound the offence. 5. Therefore, in view of the above compromise effected in between the parties, the conviction of the Appellant issetaside and he is acquitted ofthe charges. 6.
