This C-482 application was filed seeking for quashing cognizance order 26.07.2016 passed by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate II, Dehradun, by which, the applicant was summoned under Sections 420, 467, 468, 120-B of IPC on an application filed by respondent no. 2 under Section 319 of Cr.P.C. and also the judgment and order dated 31.07.2017 passed by Additional Session Judge V, Dehradun in Criminal Revision No. 243 of 2016. 4. It is pertinent to mention that vide impugned order dated 26.07.2016, Smt. Pushpa Devi and the applicant - Lal Singh were summoned by the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate II, Dehradun. 5. Learned Senior Counsel Mr. T.A. Khan has submitted that during pendency of this criminal misc. application, the applicant - Lal Singh has died on 25.04.2021. Learned Senior Counsel has also produced the death certificate of applicant - Lal Singh, which is taken on record. 6. Learned Senior Counsel has further prayed that since applicant - Lal Singh has died, cognizance order dated 26.07.2016 be cancelled and further proceedings arising out from it be quashed qua the applicant. 7. Prayer sought for is granted. 8. Since applicant - Lal Singh has died, cognizance order dated 26.07.2016 and further proceedings arising out from it be quashed qua the applicant. 9.
