Heard Ms.Ayesha Azma, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would submit that based on the report given by the unofficial respondent No.6, the police registered a case in Crime No.705 of 2023 on 05.10.2023 for the offence punishable under Section 420 IPC against the petitioners herein. Therefore, police are calling the petitioners only for inquiry purpose in the above case. Except for the purpose of the said case, the police are not interfering with the civil disputes of the petitioners and the unofficial respondents. 5. Considering the submissions, the writ petition is disposed of. However, police are directed to follow due process of law regarding the crime which is registered against the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
