1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition, seeking following reliefs:-
“10.1 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this petition and direct the respondent authority to mention/show the name of the petitioner in the proper serial no. In gradation list for promotion as lecturer for hindi teacher and also direct the respondent authorities to permit/allow the petitioner in the counselling process for lecturer of hindi subject which will took place on 25.09.2025 to 27.09.2025. 10.2 That, any other relief which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper may also kindly be granted to the petitioner in the interest of justice along with cost of the petitioner.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was due to be promoted on the post of lecturer hindi, however, list of teachers issued by the authorities for counselling, name of petitioner did not find place. Aggrieved with which petitioner has already submitted representation before respondent no. 2/Director Public Instruction Directorate, Chhattisgarh on 18.09.2025 , however, till date no decision has been taken on his representation. He further submits that first round of counselling has already been done and therefore, respondent no. 2 be
directed to take decision on pending representation at the earliest in accordance with law.
3. Learned counsel for State submits that as per his oral information, gradation list has now been corrected and decision on the representation submitted by petitioner will be taken in accordance with law at the earliest.
4. In view of submission made by respective parties, nature of grievance raised in this writ petition, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ
3 petition at this stage, directing respondent no. 2 to take decision on pending representation expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of order of this Court.
