The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the petitl-on and the grounds filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s Bhooma Maharshi Reddy, Advocate for the petitioner and of public Prosecutor for Respondent, the Court made the following This Criminal Petition'; under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A.4, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.162 of 2O24 of Tada Police Station, Tirupathi District. 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner herein and others for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short lthe NDPS Act'). 3. Caseofthe prosecution, in brief, isthat, on o7.ll.2024, on receiptof credible information, the Sub-Inspector of police, Tada Police Station, along with his staff and mediators, while conducting raid near sri city zero Point of Tada Mandal, found A.1 to A.4 in possession of 2O.8 Kgs. of Ganja. The contraband was seized under cover of mediators report and a case has been registered against the accused. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. The petitioner/A.4 was arrested on o7.ll.2024 and since then he is in judicial custody. The quantity of Ganja allegedly seized from the possession of accused is 20.8 Kgs, Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submitted that major portion of investigation is completed and for want of inventory and RFSL report, the charge sheet is not yet filed. c35ZfSE5- . ®. 6. ln view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A.4 on the following conditions: i) The petitioner/A.4 shall be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned I Additional District & Sessions Judge, Nellore, SPSR Nellore District. ii) On release, the petitioner shall appear before the Station House Officer concerned, once in a week i.e., on every Saturday between 10.00 a.m. and 01.00 p.m., till filing of the charge sheet. 7.
