The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is concerned with Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple situated in Guntur town. 2. It is submitted that the temple owns Ac.10.00 cents of land in Survey No.139/1 and the same is reflected in the Section 43 Register. It is further submitted that the 7th respondent is in the process of constructing a place of worship by occupying 70 cents of the temple land. In this regard, the petitioner submitted representations which have not been considered. The temple authorities have also addressed a letter to the Tahsilar, Mandal Revenue Office, Mangalagiri and to the Station House Officer, Rural Police Station, Mangalagiri. However, no action has been taken by the respondents to protect the temple lands. 3. It is submitted that the 4th respondent submitted an application for conducting F-Line survey for fixing boundaries of the property of the temple. It is submitted that the property of the temple is notified as endowment land under Section 43 of the AP Endowments Religious Charitable Act, 1997. 4. It is submitted that there is no moment in determining the boundaries of the 4th respondent properties. The abutting lands belong to private parties and several efforts are made by third parties for encroaching into the land of the 4th respondent. 4 HN, J W.P.No.29707_2025 5. It is also submitted that a proper survey should be conducted to determine the extent of the temple property and to ensure that the temple land is protected. The learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondent Nos.1, 5 and 6, and learned Standing counsel appearing for respondent Nos.2 and 3 also submits that survey could have to be conducted for determining the extent of land belong to the 4th respondent to rule out encroachments. 6. Heard the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent, the learned Standing counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent, and the learned Assistant Government pleader appearing for the Revenue Department. 7. Recording the submissions that the survey would have to be conducted by the official respondents for determining the extent of temple lands belong to the 4th respondent, the present writ petition stands disposed off, directing the respondent authorities to conduct a survey within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of the receipt of this order. It is needless to mention that the survey shall be conducted after issuing notices to all the concerned parties. There shall be no order as to costs.
