SUSHMA YAGANTI The Court made the following ORDER: On 18.05.2021, this Court has passed interim order in W.P.No.10207 of 2021 and the same is extracted hereunder: “Notice before admission. Learned Government Pleader for Irrigation takes notice on behalf of respondents 2 to 4. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue takes notice on behalf of respondent Nos.5&6. It is the case of the petitioners that the respondent authorities are trying to dispossess them from the land admeasuring Ac.55.51 cents situated in Sy.No.140-B of Amruthapuram Village, Halaharvi Mandal, Kurnool District, without following the due process of law. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue as well as learned Government Pleader for Irrigation submits that a preliminary notification was issued on 28.04.2021 for acquiring certain lands for the purpose of Vedavati River Lift Irrigation Project and also for construction of a pump house. It is the case of the respondents that huge extent of land is required for the said project and any effort made by them for dispossession or acquisition would only be in accordance with law. Apart from that, it is also submitted by learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue that a representation/complaint made by the petitioners expressing their grievance with regard to the acts of the respondents, which shall be taken into account by the respondents. Post on 14.06.2021, by which time, counters, if any, shall be filed by the respondents. It is made clear that any action of dispossession shall be in accordance with law.” 2. As the respondents have tried to interfere with the petitioners’ lands with JCBs, the present contempt case is filed. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents/contemnors submits that the 3rd respondent has filed the reply affidavit stating that the revenue officials have never entered or interfered with the petitioners’ land by violating the orders passed by this Court. 4. Recording the aforesaid submission, the Contempt Case is closed, giving liberty to the petitioners to file appropriate application before this Court, if the respondents interfere with the petitioners’ lands.
