A case has been regl'stered against the petitioners herein and another for the offence punishable under section 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(B) of the Narcotic Drugs and psychotropI'C Substances Act, 1985 (for short lthe NDPS Act'). 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, I-sthat, on 25.12.2024, at about o4.30 AM, on credible information, the prohibitI-On and Excise Inspector, p&E Station, Nellore-I, along with his staff and mediators, while conductI-ng Vehicle checking at AC Subbareddy stadI'um, Nellore CI'ty, Stopped the APSRTC Super Luxury bus bearing registratI'On No.AP 16 Z 0447 gol'ng towards Thl'rupathj from Nellore and found Al and A2, who were sl-tting I-n Seat Nos.23 and 24, in possession and illegal transportatI-On Of 6 Kgs of Ganja each, total 12 KGs. The contraband was seI'Zed under cover of a medl'ators report and a case has been registered against the accused. 4. Heard. perusedtherecord. 5. Petitioners were arrested on 25.12.2024 and since then they are in judicial remand. The quantl'ty of Ganja allegedly seized from the possession of the accused is 12 Kgs, whl-ch is ±`,~ =E=EL
not a commercial quantity. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submitted that major portion of investigation has been completed. 6. ln view of the aforesaid facts and Circumstances Of the case, this court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners/Al and A2 on the following conditions.
i) The petitioners/Al and A2 shall be released on bail on their executing personal bonds for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties Of the like Sum each tO the satisfaction of the learned I Addit'lon-al District and Sessions Judge, Nellore, SPSR Nellore district. ii) on release, the petitioners shall appear before the station House Officer concerned, once 'ln a week i.e., On every Saturday between 10.00 am and 01.00 pm, t-Ill filing of the charge sheet. iii) petitioners herein/Al and A2 shall not go beyond the jurisdiction of SPSR Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh State, without leave of the trial Court and they shall make available their location through mobile phones by pairing them with the mobile phone of the Investigating Officer round the clock. `-----i, \ E=
