After negotiations, the parties have arrived at settlement. Accordingly, both the parties have filed a Joint Memo duly signed before the Lok Adalath. The said Joint Memo reads as follows: 1. The petitioner agrees to get himself examined before the concerned 4 jurisdictional medical board for assessment of percentage of disability and shall produce the disability certificate issued strictly in accordance with the guidelines in terms of the order of the Hon9ble High Court in WP no.7140/2023 DD 27/07/2023 and WP No.8271/2025 DD 27/03/2025, within a period of 2 months from today. 2. On such production of disability certificate, the corporation has agreed to examine the claim of the petitioner for providing light duty. 3. The Corporation is at liberty to seek clarification/re-examination of the disability certificate from the concerned medical board in the event it is required. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of in terms of the Joint Memo modifying the order dated 19.03.2024 bearing No. BMTC/CO/Vy:Ee:576/2023-24 issued by the 6th respondent, and endorsement dated 29.04.2024 bearing No. BMTC/CO/ADMN./425/2023-24 issued by the 4th respondent vide Annexures-Q and S respectively, and directing the petitioner to settle the 5 respondent's entitlement as agreed as expeditiously as possible but within an outer limit of four[4] months from today.
