This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:

“.... to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Mandamus declaring the proceedings of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Central Zone, Vijayawada, NTR District vide proceedings C. No. 1553/ACP.CZ/2011, Dated 8-08-2011 which was opened Rowdy Sheet against the 1 petitioner and vide proceedings C. No. 1552/ACP.CZ/2011, Dated 8-08-2011 which was opened Rowdy Sheet against the 2nd petitioner and vide proceedings C. No. 1545/ACP.CZ/2011, Dated 8-08-2011 which was opened Rowdy Sheet against the 3rd petitioner and vide proceedings C. No.1547/ACP.CZ/2011, Dated 8-08- 2011 which was opened Rowdy Sheet againqt the 4th petitioner and continuing on the file of the Patamata Police Station are illegal, arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice and contrary to law and violating of Art. 14 and 21 of Constitution of India consequently direct the respondents to discontinue the rowdy sheet against the petitioner”
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.
3. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that no cases are pending against the petitioners. It is further stated that, to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioners in the vicinity, Rowdy Sheets were opened against the Petitioners.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, the cases registered against the Petitioners were ended in acquittal and no cases are pending against them.
5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is allowed and the Rowdy Sheets, opened against 1st petitioner vide C.No.1553/ACP.CZ/2011, dated 08.08.2011, against 2nd petitioner vide C.No.1552/ACP.CZ/2011 dated 08.08.2011, against 3rd petitioner vide C.No.1545/ACP.CZ/2011, dated

08.08.2011, against 4th petitioner vide C.No.1547/ACP.CZ/2011, dated 08.08.2011, are hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
