ORAL ORDER
1. In this writ petition, petitioner is challenging the impugned endorsement dated 05.07.2020 issued by respondent No.4 as per Annexure-A, inter alia, sought a writ of mandamus to respondents to remove the name of the petitioner from the list of rowdy sheeter maintained by respondent No.5 - Police.
2. Sri. Suyog Herele E., learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, as on today, no criminal cases are pending consideration against the petitioner. In that view of the matter, having taken note of the submission made by the

learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner is permitted to approach respondent No.4 within two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, stating that no criminal cases are pending consideration against him.
3. In that view of the matter, the impugned endorsement dated 05.07.2020 (Annexure-A) is hereby quashed and matter is remitted to the respondent No.4 to reconsider the issue afresh, based on the representation that may be made by the petitioner and take decision in the matter within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such representation.
4. Accordingly, the writ petition is
disposed of. Consequently, I.A.1/2023 is disposed of as not surviving for
consideration.
