This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents for non-payment of the bills for the works undertaken by the petitioner. 2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has executed the works, viz., (i) Upgradation of CC road from D.No.1-5- 39 to kodanda Ramalayam in 28th ward in Mangayyammarao peta Pitapuram Municipality Pithapuram under (15th Municipality Secretariat), vide Agreement no.205/2023-24, Date:13.12.2023, (ii)Pithapuram Municipality-Gadapa-Gadapaku mana prabhutvam- mangayyammaraopeta 15th secretariat of municipality, vide Agreement 24, Date:30.12.2023, (iii) Upgradation of CC drains from D.No.1-3-97/1 to pole No 31/b15 in 29th ward vooracheruvu Pithapuram Municipality under 15th Secretariat gadapa gadapaku mana prabhutvam, vide Agreement No.203/2023-24, Date: 30.12.2023, (iv) Construction of CC drain at pole No.84/A6/3 to main -3- W.P. No.28078 OF 2025 Date of order: 13.10.2025 road at Suravarapu Veedi and Noorahan scent street 29th ward Pithapuram Municipality, vide agreement No.202/2023-24, dt.30.12.2023, as entrusted by the 2nd respondent. 4. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner duly executed the works to the satisfaction of the 2nd respondent. It is further submitted that after execution of the works, the competent authority recorded the progress of the work in M Books and thereafter the petitioner has submitted respective final bills aggregating to a sum of Rs.15,86,360/- and the 2nd respondent approved the same, but so far no payment has been made to the petitioner. 5. In reply, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent submits that there is no dispute with respect to the completion of the work undertaken by the petitioner and the payment would be made shortly. 6. Considering the submissions, respondents 2 and 3 are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
