The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of an appropriate order or direction to respondents No.2 & 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos. 4 to 6 and take action on their representation dated 22.04.2025 (Annexure P-2). 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners have recently filed a representation on 22.04.2025 before the Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra (Annexure P-2) raising their grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereon. He further submitted that at this stage, the petitioners would be satisfied if appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.2- Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra to decide the aforesaid representation filed by the petitioners and take necessary action thereon.
