By way of this MCC, the applicant has prayed for following prayer:- “It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to modify the order dated 10.1.2025 passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.(S) No. 8532/2024 to the extent that a time limit may kindly be prescribed for deciding the pending enquiry, in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner respectfully submits that, although an order has been issued directing the conduct of a departmental enquiry following the setting aside of the initial punishment order, no specific time frame or deadline has been prescribed for the completion of this enquiry. As a result, the petitioner, who has already retired from service, continues to 3 endure significant hardship and uncertainty due to the prolonged and indefinite nature of the proceedings, which exacerbates the difficulty of resolving the matter in a timely and just manner. 3. No objection has been raised from other side. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grounds raised in the application, the concerned respondents are directed to conclude the departmental proceedings within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.
