COMMON ORDER:
1. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submit that the petitioners served in the Indian Army and were subsequently employed under the Ex-servicemen quota as Police Constables. 2. It is submitted that the petitioners were appointed in the State Civil Service with a pay scale of Rs.16,400 – 49,870/-. After the regularization of their services, their pay was revised. Both the petitioners were discharged from the Indian Army Forces during the 6th Pay Commission period, and they were re-employed in the Andhra Pradesh State Civil Service as Constables during the 7th Pay Revision Commission period. 3. It is submitted that the fixation of the petitioners’ pay is in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.95, dated 03.04.2012, and that the grant of regular pay under the 7th Pay Revision Commission ought to have been extended to the petitioners. 4. In this regard, this Court has considered similarly placed petitioners in W.P.Nos.28133, 28164 and 28527 of 2025 and directed the respondents to examine the claim of the petitioners for pay protection and pay fixation in terms of G.O.Ms.No.95, dated 03.04.2012. 5. Following the orders of this Court, the impugned memo denying pay protection is hereby set aside. There shall be a direction to the

respondents to consider the claim of the petitioners for protection of their pay in term of G.O.Ms.No.95, dated 03.04.2012. 6. Accordingly, these writ petitions are disposed off.
