Since common questions of fact and law are involved in these petitions, therefore, they are clubbed together and are being heard & decided by a common judgment. 4. Petitioner was granted FL-2 license by the State Government for wholesale of Indian Made Foreign Liquor, which was renewed lastly for financial year 2022-23. 5. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:- “”(a). A writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner and further grant the licnese of BWFL-2B as per clause 20 of the Excise Policy 2023 to the petitioner in accordance with law.” 6. Learned State Counsel submits that the relief as claimed by petitioner do not 2025:UHC:9081 survive, as the FL-2 license for financial year 2023-24 cannot be renewed now. 7. This Court finds substance in the said submission. Due to efflux of time, the writ petitions have become infructuous. 8. Accordingly, the writ petitions are dismissed.
