This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents for non-payment of the bills for the works undertaken by the petitioner. 2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has executed the contingent works, viz., (i) engaging Dozer for levelling at Viswodaya collage ground in Venkatagiri Municipality, (ii) engaging Dozer for levelling at Palakendram to old bus stand in Venkatagiri Municipality, (iii) engaging dozer for leveling at Motheracademy to Gosh hospital in Engaging Dozer for leveling at Mother Acadamy Venkatagiri Municipality (iv) Conducted the programme of jagananna suraksha in Bangarupeta Sachivalayam in Venkatagiri Municipality, (v) conducted the programme of Jagananna suraksha in Ranipeta Sachivalayam in Venkatagiri Municipality, (vi) supply of Amaron BL 600 LMF Battery and others to sanitation vehicle No.AP 26 TB 4441 in Venkatagiri -3- W.P. No.28282 OF 2025 Date of order: 15.10.2025 municipal office; (xxii) repairs to the computers and printers in Sachivalayams in municipal office; (xxiii) repairs to the computers and printers in Sachivalayams in municipal office; (xxiv) repairs to the computers and printers in Sachivalayams in municipal office; (xxv) supply of food for workers from Gudur Municipality attended for jathara festival; (xxvi) Supply of food for workers from Gudur Municipality attended for jathara festival; (xxvii) supply of food for workers from Sullurupeta Municipality attended for jathara festival, (xxviii) Supply of food for workers from Naidupeta Municipality attended for jathara festival, as entrusted by the 3rd respondent. 4. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner duly executed the works to the satisfaction of the 3rd respondent. It is further submitted that after execution of the works, the petitioner has submitted respective final bills aggregating to a sum of Rs.4,43,641/- and the same was approved by the 3rd respondent, but so far no payment has been made to the petitioner. 5. In reply, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent submits that there is no dispute with respect to the completion of the contingent works undertaken by the petitioner and the payment would be made shortly. 6. Considering the submissions, respondents 3 and 4 are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the -5- W.P. No.28282 OF 2025 Date of order: 15.10.2025 petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
