The petitioner claims that her medical leave and maternity leave for second child be regularized and she should be granted annual increment. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the medical leave and maternity leave of the petitioner has yet not been regularized despite various communications made to the respondents. He would also submit that her salary has not been fixed after the 6th and 7th Pay Commissions. Learned State counsel would submit that the matter is pending with the respondent no.1/the Secretary, Education, Government of Uttarakhand. He would submit that if the petitioner makes a fresh representation to the State, the matter may be looked into and examined. He would submit that the fresh representation may be decided within eight weeks. The Court takes on record the statement made by learned State counsel. The writ petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondent no.1/the Secretary, Education, Government of Uttarakhand within a period of seven days from now, with a further direction to the respondent no.1/the Secretary, Education Government of Uttarakhand to decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks.
