Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) By way of this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following relief:- “That the writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued directing the respondents to immediately release the amount of undisputed bills amounting to Rs.78,92,752/- to the petitioner for the work done alongwith interest @ 12% per annum from the date when the amount became payable to the petitioner till actual payment.” 2. On the strength of instructions received from Executive Engineer, Gohar Division (B&R) HPPWD Gohar, dated 09.05.2025, the respondents admit that the petitioner is entitled 2 to an amount of Rs.78.56 lakhs, which as per the respondents will be paid to the contractor very shortly. 3. As prayed for, these proceedings are closed with the direction that let this admitted amount be paid to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from today with liberty to the petitioner to agitate the remaining cause before the appropriate forum.
