THIS APPEAL, COMING ON FOR SETTLEMENT, THIS DAY, JUDGMENT WAS DELIVERED THEREIN AS UNDER: - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:51829 CRL.A No. 1202 of 2023 CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE G BASAVARAJA ORAL JUDGMENT Both the parties and their respective Counsels are present. Both the parties have filed a Joint Memo dated 09.12.2025, which reads as under: JOINT MEMO "The Appellant and Respondents are respectfully submits before this Hon'ble Court that as follows: - 1. It is submitted that the Appellant and Respondents have settled the matter with the intervention of well wishers. 2. It is submitted that as per the settlement, both the parties have settle the matter for Rs 6,00, 000/- in terms of the above settlement the appellant have already received RS 3,00,000/- (three lakhs) by way of RIGS dated 12/5/2017, the appellant acknowledge is the same, and today appellant Received Rupees 3,00,000/- by way of BANKERS CHEQUE No. 640361 STATE BANK OF INDIA in favor of Appellant. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:51829 CRL.A No. 1202 of 2023 dated 08/12/2025.as a full and final settlement there is no any further claims. 3. It is submitted that both parties are agreed to settled the above matter as per the joint memo . WHEREFORE, Appellant and Respondents are prays that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to dispose the above Appeal as per the joint memo." 2. Today, the respondent/accused has handed over a Bankers Cheque bearing No.640361, dated 08.12.2025 of the State Bank of India, drawn for a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- (Rupees Three Lakhs only), to the appellant/complainant in the open Court as full and final settlement. The appellant has acknowledged the receipt of the said cheque. 3. The contents of the Joint Memo are read over and explained to both parties. Both the parties have accepted the contents voluntarily and agreed to settle the dispute amicably. The same appears to be lawful. - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:51829 CRL.A No. 1202 of 2023 4.
