Present C528 Application has been filed by the Applicants for quashing the impugned order dated 30.04.2025 issued by respondent no.4-Branch Manager PNB Branch Arya Nagar Jawalapur, District Haridwar as well as impugned order dated 12.11.2024 passed in Sessions Trial No.26 of 2024 “State vs. Ved Prakash @ Vedanand Saraswati & others” in relation to FIR dated 24.08.2022 in Case Crime No.462 of 2022 for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 120-B, 420, 504 & 506 of IPC registered at Thana Jwalapur, District Haridwar passed by learned First Additional District & Sessions Judge Haridwar. Further a prayer has been made to allow the application no.17 Kha dated 27.09.2024 filed before the trial court by the Applicants for de-freezing the bank accounts related to them. 5. Learned counsel for the Applicants submits that Respondent Bank may be directed to defreeze the bank account of the Applicants. 6. Learned counsel for the Applicants has placed reliance on a judgment passed by this Court in the case of “M/s Satish Industries and another Vs. State of Uttarakhand and others” wherein, a similar relief has been sought for defreezing the bank account and it was granted. 7. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, this Court is of the view that freezing of the account of the Applicants is absolutely illegal and as such the instant petition deserves to be allowed. 8. Consequently, the present C528 Application stands disposed of with a direction to the Respondent No.4- Punjab National Bank (PNB), Branch Arya Nagar, Jwalapur, District Haridwar, to defreeze the bank accounts of the Applicants forthwith and permit them to operate their accounts.
