1. By way of the present petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- 10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call records with respect to the instant writ petition. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct respondent District Education Officer ambikapur District Surguja to immediately comply with the promise made and furnish/provide certified Copies to petitioner under section 75 of the Bhartiya Sakshaya Adhiniyam. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner’s minor son was physically assaulted at Holy Cross Convent Senior Secondary School, whereby the son of the petitioner was seriously injured. Therefore, the petitioner submitted an application on 11/09/2025 under Section 75 of the Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 before the District Education Officer, Surguja seeking certified copies of admission forms, CCTV Footage, Academic Records, SOPs concerning complaint handling and compliance whereupon the petitioner was assured that the desired documents would be provided within two working days and the requisite fees was also paid by the petitioner, however, no documents have been provided to the petitioner. Hence this petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the DEO may be directed to provide the documents to the petitioner pursuant to the application Annexure P/1.
4. Learned State counsel submits that they have no objection.
5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents with utmost circumspection.
6. Considering the entire facts & circumstances of the case, it is
directed that the District Education Officer, Ambikapur, District Surguja, C.G. shall decide the application of the petitioner (Annexure P/1) expeditiously as soon as possible.

7. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent is at liberty to proceed in accordance with law.
