Dash, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State-Opposite Parties. 2. The Petitioner, who is a slum dweller and has been granted with a Land Right Certificate, has filed the present writ petition challenging impugned order dated 23.07.2025 of the Tahasildar, Khondmal, Phulbani under Annexure-9 where his prayer for settlement of further land adjacent to the allotted land has been rejected. 3. Upon hearing Mr. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as Mr. Dash, learned A.G.A., it is apparent from the record that the Petitioner being a slum dweller has been allotted with Land Right Certificate extending 484 sq. ft. in Plot No.438 and the certificate to that effect has been granted to him as per Annexure-4. Thus, no merit is seen in his claim to further occupy such extent of land measuring Hc.0.044R allegedly abutting to his allotted land.
