ORAL ORDER

1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. Learned AGA is directed to take notice for respondent Nos.1 to 6.
3. The petitioner is a landless person. He has been in unauthorized cultivation of land bearing Survey No.107/1B, 105/B, 108/B, 109/1/B2, measuring 3 acres, situated at Devalapura Village, Siraguppa Taluk, Ballari District, for the

last 30 years. It is contended to be a government land. This being the state of affairs, the petitioner submitted an application for regularization of his unauthorized cultivation of the land to respondent No.2 Committee on 21.09.2022. The petitioner again submitted another representation on
06.08.2024. Though the applications and representations were filed, no reply or action is taken by the respondent authorities or the Committee. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court seeking a writ of mandamus against the respondents.
4. Per contra, learned AGA representing the respondents contends that the applications so made by the petitioner would be considered in accordance with the reusable bank's grant.
5. In view of the said submission, I pass the following:
ORDER i. This petition is allowed.

ii. A writ of mandamus is issued and a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 21.09.2022 and the representation dated 06.08.2024 for regularization of his unauthorized cultivation in the land bearing survey No.107/1B, 105/B, 108/B, 109/1/B2, measuring 3 acres, situated at Devalapura Village, Siraguppa Taluk, Ballari District, in accordance to law. iii. In the meanwhile, respondents shall not dispossess the petitioner from the above- mentioned land. iv. The process shall be completed within a period of 3 months and if the Committee is not already constituted, within three months from the date of constitution of the Committee.
