That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent authority to decide the applications made by the petitioner and to take appropriate steps against the encroachment made by the respondent no. 4 to 7. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue any writ or direction or order as deem fit in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the application (Annexure P/5) filed by the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents raises no objection in this regard. 4. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties and perused the record with utmost circumspection. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and looking to the limited prayer of the petitioner, respondent no. 2 is directed 3 to decide the application Annexure P/5 filed by the petitioner in accordance with law, rules and regulations. 6. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present petition is disposed of. 7. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
