JUDGMENT The petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the fact that his application for renewal of an expired permit has not been considered and disposed of despite the fact that the application has been pending since 11-04-2023.
2. The learned Government Pleader submits on instructions that the renewal is sought in respect of a permit that expired in the year 2020. It is submitted that the enquiry is progressing and after the equiry is completed, a decision can be taken on the question as to whether the petitioner is entitled to a renewal of the permit. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader and having regard to the
facts and circumstances noticed above, this writ petition will stand
disposed of, directing that the application filed by the petitioner for renewal of the permit shall be considered and disposed of, in accordance with the law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
