VUYYURU LAKSHMANA RAO The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondent No. 4 in interfering with the Petitioners life by threatening and harassing as arbitrary, illegal and unconstitutional and violative of Petitioners fundamental rights guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to subject the petitioner to any harassment by causing threat of arrest, and not to interfere in the lawful cultivation activities of the petitioner.” 2. Sri V.Venkata Nagaraju, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Police are calling the Petitioner to the Police Station and are interfering in the civil disputes between the parties. 3. Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the Police never called the Petitioner to the Police Station and no crime has been registered against him. It is further submitted that the Police are not interfering in the civil disputes between the parties. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed not to summon the Petitioner to the Police Station in the absence of any crime against him. Police are further directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the parties, except under due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
