This Court, vide order dated 01.08.2024, passed in MCRC No. 5398 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the petitioners, namely, Basant Bagh and Deepak Nand, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certi>ed copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. Earlier on occasion also, this Court had granted extension of time for conclusion of the trial vide order dated 21.07.2025 in CRMP No.2263/2025. 4. The learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Mahasamund (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 14.10.2025 has requested for grant of 04 month’s time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that the present case is at the stage of recording of the prosecution witness, and due to non-appearance of the witnesses the summons have also been issued against them. Hence, trial is likely to take some time for its conclusion. Hence, he prays for grant of 04 month’s time for concluding the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of 04 months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed o5 with the aforesaid direction. 8.
