GP FOR ENDOWMENTS The Court made the following: ORDER: Heard Sri Kalla Thulasi Dursamba, learned counsel appearing for Sri K. Venkata Subbaiah, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Endowments, appearing for the respondents. 3 2. Challenging the action of respondent No.2 in not considering the application of the petitioner dated 24.09.2025 filed for deletion of the subject lands from the list of prohibited properties under Sec.22(A)(1)(c) of the Registration Act,1908, the instant Writ Petition has been filed. 3. It is contended that the petitioner had made an application seeking deletion of the subject properties from the prohibited category vide application dated 24.09.2025 to the District Collector, as well as the Assistant Commissioner, Endowments Department. 4. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Endowments, appearing for the respondents has placed before the Court, a copy of the instructions received by him in the case. A perusal of the same would reflect that no application has been filed before the Assistant Commissioner, Endowments, in respect of the subject lands. 5. Considered the submissions. 6. Petitioner is therefore granted liberty to file a representation before the Commissioner, Endowments, seeking deletion of the subject lands from the prohibited list under Sec.22(A)(1)(c) of the Registration Act,1908. Upon filing of such an application, the 2nd respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders in accordance of law on the said representation within six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of order of this Court. 4 7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. It is needless to observe that the petitioner shall be afforded an opportunity of hearing. There shall be no order as to costs.
