This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents for non-payment of the bills for the works undertaken by the petitioner. 2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has executed the work, viz., supply and delivery of Tractor with Trailer (3 Nos) for collection and transportation of garbage in Bapatla Municipality, vide agreement No.135/2024-25, dt.20.01.2025, as entrusted by the 3rd respondent. 4. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner duly executed the work to the satisfaction of the 3rd respondent, the competent authority recorded the progress of the work in the M Book and thereafter submitted a final bill for a sum of Rs.39,99,239/- and the 3rd respondent approved the same and the same was uploaded in the CFMS portal. However, no payment has been made to the petitioner till date. -3- W.P. No.28032 OF 2025 Date of order: 13.10.2025 5. During the course of the hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent does not dispute the submissions made by the petitioner with respect to the completion of the work undertaken and the payment would be made shortly. 6. Considering the submissions, respondents 2, 3 and 7 are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
