This is an application for quashing of proceeding in G.R. Case No. 533 of 2021 arising out of Lake Station PS Case No. 126 dated
13.06.2021.
Reports filed on behalf of the State are taken on record.
Learned counsels appearing on behalf of the accused petitioners and the de facto complainant opposite party submit that the disputes that had led to the registration of the present FIR have already been compromised and settled between the private parties. It has been decided that the minor child with stay with the father. The parties have also decided that all the criminal cases pending between the parties shall be finally compromised and settled. Accordingly, the present proceeding may be quashed on the ground of settlement.
Learned counsel for the State relies on the case diary and the report and submits that the State would not come in the way, if the
3 private parties settle the matter.
It appears that a settlement and compromise has been arrived at between the private parties of all disputes that had led to the initiation of the impugned proceeding.
In view of the same, the impugned proceeding is quashed on the ground of compromise.
Accordingly, the revisional applications and the connected applications are disposed of.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
