Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that a peremptory order was passed in WPC No. 2138 of 2020 on 14.08.2025, whereby the applicant was directed to rectify the defaults pointed out by the Registry, but due to inadvertence, same could not be rectified by the applicant within prescribed period. He would further submit that the petitioner/appellant is interested in pursuing the WPC No. 2138 of 2020. He would pray to restore WPC No. 2138 of 2020. He would also submit that the applicant has good case on merits. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the State would oppose. 4. Taking into consideration the submission by Mr. Bisen, the instant MCC for restoration of WPC No. 2138 of 2020 is hereby allowed. The WPC No. 2138 of 2020 is restored to its original number subject to payment of cost of Rs. 5000/- payable to the Chhattisgarh High Court Legal Services Committee, Bilaspur. 5.
