ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS declaring the inaction of the respondents with the investigation in Crime No. 1056/2023, on the file of the Patamata Police Station, for the offences punishable u/s. 409 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code, and to declare the same as illegal, arbitrary and in violation of Articles 14, 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to conduct fair and transparent investigation in Crime No.1056/2023, dated 17/11/2023, on the file of the Patamata Police Station, Vijayawada, for the offences punishable U/s. 409 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code as expeditious as possible”
2. Heard Sri Satya Sai Krishna, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the respondent/police to conclude the investigation in Crime No.1056 of 2023 and file a final report.
4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the investigation in Crime No.1056 of 2023 is almost completed and they need three weeks time to file charge sheet.
5. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed to conclude the investigation in the above crime

and file a report in accordance with law, within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
