Prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioners dated 5.10.2024 wherein the petitioners have prayed for grant of compensation at the commercial rate and not at agricultural rate, as awarded by award dated 25.1.2024 under the provisions of National Highways Act, 1956. 2. As the petitioners are not satisfied with the amount awarded as compensation to them by the Competent Authority vide award dated 25.1.2024 and therefore, the remedy is under Section 3G(5) of the National Highways Act, 1956. No purpose will be served in directing the District Magistrate to decide the representation in relation to which direction has been sought. 3.
