DEPUTY SOLICITOR GENERAL OF INDIA The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondent No.3 in not taking action on the directions of the 1st respondent herein dated 03-02-2020 categorically directed the 3rd respondent to take appropriate action against the 4th respondent 2 basing on the petitioners complaint dated 16-01-2020 seeking to take necessary action against the 4th respondent herein for violating of his official duty while he was working as DCP in CCS, Hyderabad for illegally detained and tortured him for a period of twenty three days (23 days) in two sessions basing on the complaint made by his wife under the dowry harassment case though he never demanded any alleged dowry and PS women police, CCS has registered a crime no. 288/2014 against the petitioner and as well as his parents for the offenses punishable under the section 498 (A) IPC, 3 and 4 of DP Act is as being illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violation of articles 21 of the constitution of India and consequently direct the respondent nos. 1-3 to take necessary action against the 4th respondent.” 2.
