Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:67716 Court No. - 76 Case :- MATTERS UNDER ARTICLE 227 No. - 4334 of 2025 Petitioner :- Sabina Khatoon Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 7 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Jitendra Kumar Yadav Counsel for Respondent :- G.A. Hon'ble Vinod Diwakar,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. By way of the present petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to learned Civil Judge (J.D)/FTC, Court No.1, Maharajganj for expeditious disposal of Case No. 6882 of 2021, State v. Mohram Shah and others, arising out of Case Crime No.44 of 2021, under Sections 498A, 494, 323, 504, 506 IPC and Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District Maharajganj, within a stipulated time frame. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the proceedings in the aforesaid case have been pending since the year 2021, and no substantial progress has been made to date. It is, therefore, submitted that a direction be issued to the concerned trial Court to dispose of the matter within a fixed period. 4. Upon consideration of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and perusal of the record, the Court finds no sufficient or cogent grounds pleaded in the writ petition to justify why the said case should be accorded priority over other pending matters before the trial Court. As such, no case for issuance of a direction for expeditious disposal is made out. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed for lack of sufficient pleadings. Order Date :- 30.4.2025 A.N.
