GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in opening the suspect sheet and continuing the same in the 1st 2 respondent police station by renewing the same without recording any reasons as arbitrary, illegal, contrary to Police Standing No.600 and violation of Article 21 of the Constitution of India consequently direct the respondents to close the suspect sheet maintaining against the petitioners in the 1st respondent police station in the interest of justice.” 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would submit that no cases are pending against the Petitioners and to curb and curtail the unlawful activities of the Petitioners the impugned Suspect Sheet has been opened against the Petitioners. 3. Sri P.Nagendra Reddy, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, recording the same, the suspect sheet opened against the Petitioners may be closed. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is allowed and the impugned Suspect Sheet against the Petitioners is hereby set aside. There shall be no order as to costs.
