----- For the Petitioner

----- Oral Order
06 / Dated : 30.07.2025
1. The instant revision petition has been preferred against the order dated 24.09.2024 passed in Original Maintenance Case No. 22 of 2024, whereby and whereunder, learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Lohardaga has directed the petitioner to pay Rs.3,000/- per month in favour of O.P. No.2 under Section 125 of the Cr.P.C.
2. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is a bus agent having a monthly income of Rs 10,530/-. Therefore, the maintenance awarded by the learned Family Court is excessive.
3.
Learned counsel for the State has defended the impugned order and submitted that the maintenance awarded by the learned Family Court is just and reasonable and is not excessive as the petitioner is a bus agent and is earning Rs.30,000/- to Rs.35,000/- per month and he also has an agricultural land.
5. Having considered the submissions advanced on behalf of both sides and considering the finding of fact regarding the occupation of the petitioner, the maintenance awarded cannot be, by any stretch of imagination, said to be excessive.
I do not find any infirmity in the impugned order.
This revision petition stands dismissed.
Pending I.A., if any, stands disposed of.
