It is the case of the petitioner that though the petitioner was retired from service on 31.03.2015 as Special Grade Driver in the Respondents- Transport Corporation, his April and May-2015 months' pension was not disbursed to him and thereafter, he received pension regularly. Hence, claiming his two months pension, he has sent a representation on 10.02.2025 and the same is yet to be pending. It is the further case of the petitioner that for the RTI query, the 2nd respondent has given a reply on 03.04.2024 stating that the pension due for the months of April and May-2015 would be paid. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.17740 of 2025 3. However, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 is not in a position to confirm with the above reply. Therefore, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2025 on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
