2025:HHC:1393 IN THE HIGH COURT OF HIMACHAL PRADESH, SHIMLA CWP No.487 of 2025 Date of Decision: 07.01.2025 _____________________________________________________________________ Duni Chand ……...Petitioner Versus National Highway Authority of India & Ors. …....Respondents Coram Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sandeep Sharma, Judge. Whether approved for reporting? For the Petitioner: Mr. H.S.Rangra, Advocate. For the respondent: Ms.Shreya Chauhan, Advocate, for respondent No. 1 & 2. Mr. Rajan Kahol, Mr. B.C Verma & Mr. Vishal Panwar, Additional Advocate Generals, with Mr. Ravi Chauhan, Deputy Advocate General, for respondent No. 3. ___________________________________________________________________________ Sandeep Sharma, J. (Oral) By way of instant petition, very innocuous prayer has been made by the petitioner to issue direction to respondent No. 3 to decide the representation (Annexure P-3) expeditiously. 2. Having regard to the nature of prayer and order proposed to be passed in the instant petition, coupled with the fact that aforesaid authority is duly represented by learned Additional Advocate General, there appears to be no justification to call for the reply from the respondents, rather petition at hand can be disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 3 to decide the representation, detailed hereinabove expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from today. Ordered accordingly. Needless to say, authority concerned, while doing the needful in terms of instant order, shall afford an opportunity of being heard to the petitioner and pass speaking order thereupon. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of. January 07, 2025 (Sandeep Sharma), (sunil) Judge 2
