The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Daltonganj Rail P.S. Case No. 43 of 2024 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 30 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 18(b), 22(C) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Palamau. 3. On 21.11.2024, Railway Police, Daltonganj apprehended this petitioner alongwith co-accused Gyanti Devi from Platform No. 1 of Daltonganj Railway Station and recovered 01.5 kgs of opium from their joint possession. 4. It was submitted that the quantum of seized opium comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that co-accused Gyanti Devi has been granted bail by this Court vide B.A. No. 398 of 2025. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S.
