This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following relief:
“...to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents for with-holding the amount of Rs.4,34,052/- (Rupees four lakhs thirty four thousand and fifty two only) for supply of Farm Machinery i.e. Reaper, Bush Cutters, Tillers and supply of water pumps (Diesel Engine) for an amount of Rs.6,43,060/- ( rupees six lakhs forty three thousand and sixty only) aggregated to Rs.10,77,112/- (Rupees ten lakhs seventy seven thousand one hundred and twelve only) under the scheme of NFSM, SMAM and PMKSY for the year 2018-2019 by the petitioner firm is illegal, arbitrary and violation of Article 14, 19, and 21 of the Constitution of India and for consequently direct the respondents to pay Rs.10,77,112/- (Rupees ten lakhs seventy seven thousand one hundred and twelve only) with interest and other reliefs and to pass...”. 2. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Agriculture, while admitting about the agreement amount, placed on record instructions received from the O/o. Director of Agriculture, Andhra Pradesh, Guntur, dated 08.12.2025. The relevant portion of the written instructions reads as follows:
“...In this connection the Department of Agriculture has verified the records, it is found that the total supply subsidy value is Rs.10,16,092/- (Rs.6,39,540/- under PMKSY, Rs.40,000/- under NFSM and Rs.3,36,552/- under SMAM). 3 W.P.No.29071 of 2024 Out of which an amount of Rs.5,49,984/- (Rs.3,41,300/- under PMKSY + Rs.2,08,684/- under SMAM) already paid to the petitioner account. Hence pending with the department is Rs.4,66,108/- (gross) only. Further, it is humbly submitted that, the petitioner attended to respondent’s office and reconciled with the department and verified the old payments, it is arrived that an amount of Rs.4,66,108/- (gross) is payable to the petitioner against claimed amount of Rs.10,77,112/-...”

In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner requested to pass appropriate orders. 4. In view of the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Agriculture, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to release the amount of Rs.4,66,108/- (Rupees four lakh sixty six thousand one hundred eight only), along with interest, as per the entitlement, to the petitioner within a period of two (02) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
