GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has awarded the work of Pulivendula Municipality – PADA Grants 2023-24 – Laying of CC roads and restoration of damaged existing CC roads from Raja Reddy park near Loyola College to Kadapa road and from Trilok Mart to Sri Rama Temple in Pulivendula Muinicipality, vide Agreement No.211/2023-24, dated 09.02.2024, as entrusted by the respondents and submitted final bills. It is submitted that the competent authority has also recorded the progress of works and certified the works in the M-Book. It is submitted that an amount of Rs.1,22,30,831/- is due and payable by the respondents to the petitioner. It is submitted that the bill was also uploaded in the CFMS Portal. However, no amounts have been forth coming. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development; the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Municipality. 3. During the course of hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Corporation does not dispute the submissions made by the petitioner with respect to the completion of work undertaken. 4. Considering the submissions, the respondent Nos.2 and 4 are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner as 4 expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of ten (10) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
